Bythology is a system which allows the exploration of the concepts of time, memory, money and technology as they relate to the anthropological aspects of human history. It offers a way of recognising it as intrinsically linked to ancient history and the dawn of civilisation as well as a vision of the future, as what it presents is both a disruption and a continuation of the way in which we as humans deal with these very abstract concepts.
Bythology employs contemporary archeology by means of alchemist processes of transformation as well as self sustaining systems. The artist uses a process of transformation through working with artefacts of different cultural contexts and eras ranging from the prehistoric to the contemporary and changing their substantive qualities as they relate to value and time.
Bythology is an ongoing project which aims to broaden the conversation around technologies, to open a new vision through the time sequence and its perception, break free from the confines of a discourse focused primarily on profit in favour of a deeper dive into the exploration of the shape of the future and the human mind.
Bythology as an ongoing project consists of multiple components under the categories of contemporary archaeology, transformative alchemy, project diagrams, conceptual art and installations.
